Castrol Techniclean™ CPL (previously called Flexiclean™ CPL) is an innovative, versatile, semi-synthetic cleaning fluid. Unlike common emulsion cleaning fluids that are susceptible to bacteria and instability, Techniclean CPL maintains a stable emulsion to prolong bath life and ensure long-term performance. Techniclean™ CPL effectively removes soils such as emulsions, synthetic metalworking fluids, light and medium viscosity metalworking oils, swarf, dust and dirt, oily- and thin-film rust preventives, hydraulic and lubricating oils, and flux residues. It is suitable for use in cleaning equipment such as spray and flood wash. Techniclean™ CPL is multi-metal compatible it is safe to use on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. This product leaves a light oily film that provides in-process corrosion protection and lubrication for subsequent operations.
