FORMULA TWENTY is a specialist mould release agent based on a unique - active material that has been formulated to provide improved release characteristics (compared to conventional non-silicone release agents) on a wide range ofthermoplastic and thermoset materials; whilst still allowing post moulding operations to be carried out.
APPLICATIONS
Provides a light - wax-like film for the release of plastic parts in injection moulding. It is particularly suited to automotive - rapid prototyping and consumer electronic moulding operations where post moulding processes usually occur. Will not build up in the mould and helps to improve surface finish - reduce rejects and increase production.Formula 20 is highly suited for use as a wax pattern release agent in lost wax casting applications. It eliminates the need to wax wash patterns prior to ceramic shell coat process.
BENEFITS
- Releases as effectively as traditional silicone based release agents
- No oily film reduces the need to clean
- Will not affect post moulding operations
- Effective on a wide variety of materials including:
- ABS
- Polyethylene
- Polypropylene
- PVC
- Polyamides and Polyurethanes
N.B. The active material in Formula Twenty will allow post-process treatment of the moulded part.Spray a light - even coating from 9 - 12 inches (25 - 30 cm) and re-apply as necessary
